Community Guidelines
What’s welcome on Kelar, and what isn’t.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
About these guidelines
Kelar helps people discover real-world events and communities. These Guidelines explain what is and isn’t okay on Kelar, so that what people find here is accurate, safe and worth showing up for.
They apply to events, organizer profiles, images, links and any other content on Kelar. They are part of our Terms of Use.
Be accurate
People make plans based on what they see on Kelar. Make sure your events are real and described honestly. Don’t publish:
- fake events, or events you have no connection to
- materially misleading information
- content that impersonates another person, organizer or brand
- deliberately false venues, dates, times or ticket information
If something changes, update your event. If an event has an age limit or other entry requirements, say so.
Keep Kelar safe
Don’t use Kelar for:
- threats, harassment or bullying
- hateful or dehumanizing content targeting people for who they are
- encouraging or glorifying violence
- sexual exploitation of anyone, including any content that sexualizes minors
- dangerous or illegal activities
- fraud, scams or phishing
No spam or manipulation
Don’t:
- mass-post duplicate or near-identical events
- try to manipulate how events are discovered or ranked
- post deceptive links, or links that lead somewhere unexpected
- misuse organizer access, or share it with people who shouldn’t have it
Respect rights
Only upload content you own or have permission to use. Don’t upload content that:
- infringes someone’s copyright, such as photos or artwork
- infringes trademarks, such as logos or brand names
- violates someone’s privacy or publicity rights
- you otherwise don’t have permission to use
Appropriate content
Kelar is a place to discover events. We may remove or restrict content that is:
- pornographic or sexually explicit
- graphically violent
- otherwise inappropriate for the service
Reporting
If you see content you believe breaks these Guidelines, let us know. You can report concerns through Kelar’s available reporting tools or contact contact@kelar.app. Tell us what the content is, where you saw it, and why you are concerned.

Enforcement
Depending on how serious the issue is and its context, Kelar may:
- remove content
- reject events
- limit how content is shown or distributed
- suspend or remove organizer access
- suspend or terminate accounts
Serious or repeated violations can lead to immediate suspension or termination. If you think we got something wrong, contact us.
